We keep this simple: we only collect what you choose to send us, we use it for what you asked, and we never sell it.
Who we are
This site, allamericanrejects.com, is the official website of The All-American Rejects ("we", "us"). Questions about this policy or your information can be sent through the form on our Contact page.
What we collect
- Mailing list. Your email address, if you sign up and tick the box to receive emails.
- Contact form. Your name, email address and whatever you write in your message.
- Basic technical information. Like every website, our host (Wix) receives things such as your IP address and browser type when you visit, to deliver the site and keep it secure.
We don't use analytics trackers, advertising pixels or tracking cookies on this site.
How we use it
- To send you band news, new music and tour dates, if you signed up for the mailing list.
- To read and reply to messages you send us.
- To run the site and protect it from spam and abuse.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.
Who helps us
A few service providers handle information for us, only to provide their service:
- Wix hosts the site and stores form submissions and the mailing list. See Wix's privacy policy.
- YouTube plays our videos in its privacy-enhanced mode, which doesn't set YouTube cookies until you press play. See Google's privacy policy.
- Apple Music streams the 30-second song previews when you press play. See Apple's privacy policy.
Links to streaming services, ticket sellers and our store take you to other sites, which have their own privacy policies.
Cookies
The site only uses the few cookies it needs to work, such as a session cookie and a caching cookie set by Wix. They don't track you across other sites and aren't used for advertising, so there's nothing to accept or decline.
Your choices and rights
- Every email we send has an unsubscribe link. One click and you're off the list.
- You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the information we hold about you by writing to us through the Contact page.
- If you're in the European Union, the UK or another place with similar laws, you also have the right to object to or restrict how we use your information, to receive a copy of it, and to complain to your local data protection authority.
- If you're in California or another US state with a privacy law, you have the right to know, correct and delete your information. We don't sell or share personal information, so there's nothing to opt out of.
How long we keep it
We keep your email on the mailing list until you unsubscribe. We keep messages for as long as we need them to reply and follow up, then delete them.
Where it's stored
Wix stores information in data centers in the United States and other countries, with safeguards required by law for international transfers.
Kids
This site isn't directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information. If you think a child has sent us information, let us know and we'll delete it.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update it here and change the date at the top.
